Craft Ideas

Here's some cool Craft Ideas that are easy to do:
1/ [Neon Picture Frames] go to a second-hand store and buy some cheap, unique frames. Then spray paint them neon colours. 2/ [Whale Kleenex Box] Craft a wooden whale in the woodshop. - A box & a tail. then paint yellow.

3/ [Poppy Plate] take a pottery class !

Erase Board

Here's a neat idea!! Try making your own 'dry erase board'! All you gotta do is:

- print a picture

- frame it

- hang it

Face Mask Routine

I Have been using this routine for the past couple of weeks now & it is improving my skin tremendously!

1st: I apply Neutrogena Deep Creme Cleanser for 3 minutes. (this leaves my face all tingly and fresh - with a minty smell)

2nd: I apply the Cosmetic Catastrophe Face Mask from LUSH. (who doesn't love a good face mask every now and then? it's great for scaring people too...)

These 2 Products, are both for sensitive skin. Neutrogena products pride themselves on it. Together, they work amazing for a long period of time!! Try it out & leave me a comment below! :)

Hey! So I just wanted to do a quick update tonight. I finally published a portfolio on my own very own webpage for filming and directing...but cause i just found out how to make it tonight - it's a work in progress. It's a website called wix - very quick, and easy to get sign up. like literally 10 seconds. hehe The tools are pretty great and it's looking professional even though I've only spent a couple hours on it. Nelson BC Boutique = New Fave Shop

Amongst my Spring Break 2011 travels, I came across quaint little shop in Nelson, BC - called Tara Davis Studio Boutique. I absolutely loved everything in it!! Everything - from their head bands, to their paintings, to the pillows, soap, and jewellry. I bought 3 things: 1. a little bottle can lid magnet - with a vintage looking eiffel tower printed on it. 2. a peacock feathered headband pics below... 3. an item that smells & looks EXACTLY like a blue icing donut...but it's actually a bar of soap XD The shop owner recieved her Jewellry Arts Certificate, and studied Industrial Design & Fiber Arts. She then toured Europe - scampering through museums & galleries absorbing their creative ideas. Then she went to India & SouthEast Asia, learning the ways of traditional weaving. She's very optimistic & friendly. I had such an amazing experience being in her store, and everyone that went in - came out with something. I found it extremely inspiring & I might even want to pursue such a career later on, in my future.

Lancôme Paris

One of my recently favourited makeup brands is Lancome!! I honestly can't find one product I don't like but here are a few that I adore:

They have a brand new foundation that actually makes my skin look flawless. Finding good porcelain skin tones is extremely hard but this one is perfect!

Next is the black eyeshadow. I love this stuff so much!! Unlike other brands, lancome makeup actually shows up with strong colours but because its so expensive - they make it so it's soft to apply & easy to blend.

And here we have their newest creation! Floral butterfly/bow printed blush. It's so cute, I almost wouldn't even want to use it!! :)

MOCKINGJAY.

Here is the 3rd & final book to an epic series. I'm not quite finished it yet but I can sense the suspense is *finally* starting to pick up. The first book is no doubt my favourite & after a terrible 2nd book, I wasn't really keen on reading this one. Of course, Sydney was jumping up and down with excitment - telling me I *had* to finish it. Well since I made a commitment, that's exactly what I'll do.


so far I would rate this book: 2.2 stars on account of:
- the style of writing wouldn't be my preference
- there's no detailed surroundings
- they're just waiting around for something to happen
- Katniss can't possibly go to war because she's the beacon of hope.
- and Peeta is still captured with no possible chance of love interest at the end. If she ends up with Gale, I will be extremely dissapointed.

Other than the fighting in the first book, I was intruiged by their possible love interest. With no hope for them in the future & her lack of combat, this book will be a total flip, flap, FLOP.

OMG no way!

The most amazing thing has happened to lil ol me. Remember how I complained and groaned about not having a speaking part in Grease? It's been eating at me alive! Especially ever since they made me an understudy, only to BE the understudy...wellll yesterday, the girl who plays Teen Angel (Beauty School Dropout) got sick & I am her official replacement tonight. I'm Tara-fied!! but soo epicly excited. Most of my chummies are coming to watch the performance. I've got such amazing friends!! They were all jumping up and down!! I'm shaking sooo bad just thinking about it..but I finally caught my lucky break & I'm gonna enjoy it while I've got it! Wish me luck !!
